Project 365 – day 5-8

Day 5

img_0094I am working on a custom scrapbook for a local realtor association.  I have a hard time working at my desk if it’s a mess so I always clean up before starting a project.  As you can see, it doesn’t last long.  this picture was taken in the midst of a creative  session.  I was given this project right before we went on our winter trip to Colorado.  I wasn’t able to work on it while I was gone so that leaves me a week to complete an entire album.  Luckily I work fast.

Day 6

img_0095A new year means a great opportunity to recommit to diet and exercise.  I try not to think of it as a resolution but just a starting point.  almost like starting a diet on monday.  I wasn’t able to start on the 1st since the kids were out of school.  I started on the first monday they were back and so far I’ve done pretty well.  I have been a member of LA Fitness for years but when I started school I put my membership on hold.  When I went back on this day I was happy to see that they had all new equipment including these snazzy new ellipticals, my exercise of choice along with step aerobics.

Day 7

img_0096Rarely a week goes by without a visit to our local Target superstore.  Luckily the Target is in the same shopping center as LA Fitness so I can kill two birds with one stone.  The purpose of today’s trip was to get Tyler a new backpack (he’s rough on his stuff) and stock up on fresh veggies for me

Day 8

img_0097It’s no secret that I’ve always had weight issues.  At the beginning of last year I started nutrisystem and lost 40 pounds.  Unfortunately I fell off the wagon and gained it all back.  I still have a ton of food left so I decided to start off my new year’s diet with my remaining stash.  This is the scrambled eggs.  It’s actually not half bad when you add spinach, onions and tomatoes.  You also have to add a protein so I always add an egg white.  It makes a ton of food and keeps me filled up until my next meal.

Great photos! My scrapping desk looks exactly like yours right now. I really need to stop and clean it off. Maybe tomorrow. 😉 haha Good luck on the album and the weight loss! I’m sure you will do well with both. 🙂
