Tricked out school supplies and work stuff

Of course, Tyler’s teacher wanted a composition book that could only be found at a store across town.  It wouldn’t have been so bad if I hadn’t checked four local stores first. anyway, i got the composition book and couldn’t resist altering it with school supplies.packing tape and stamps.  i can’t take credit for the idea.  It’s a scraplift of one done at my the LSS where I work, Gemstone and Bead Imports.  The original was created by Angela and Amanda.  In fact, the handwriting on Tyler’s is all Amanda.  Of course, since I did one for Tyler I had to also decorate Madison’s.

I used alcohol inks on the first one.  I didn’t really like how they turned out so I ommitted them on the second.

New at the store: We just got the new Bling boy and girl line.  I am so in love with it all

UTEE-it’s not new but angela’s been making some cool pendants with it.  I think we just got pewter findings to pour the utee into to make super cool pieces.

I had a fun day at work today.  Crazy but fun.  Kendra did an amazing job of teaching a huge  crochet clinic with 9 attendees.  Most were scrappers so it was fun to watch them get outside of their comfort zone and create beautiful pieces.  Kendra was supposed to take a pic of everyone in their completed masterpieces.  Hopefully she’ll send me a copy.  I love busy days where the time seems to fly by.  Unfortunately i wasn’t able to hang out until everyone was finished.  had to run to the post office to get myself and the kids passports.  We are thinking of taking a cruise in November and wanted to be ready just in case.

Those look great! I’m waiting to read the follow entry to this, when T & M bring them home saying that the teacher told them they had to be plain, lol.
